A research-led project on mid-century design

Mid Century Style was founded in 2007 in Turin as a research and curatorial project dedicated to mid-century design and furniture.
Our work focuses on original furniture, lighting and design objects from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, selected for their balance of aesthetic value, construction quality and functional design.

The selection is intentionally limited: Mid Century Style is a mid-century design store based in Turin, offering exclusively original, one-of-a-kind pieces, carefully inspected and presented in excellent condition.
Furniture is restored only when necessary, with full respect for original materials, finishes and construction details, or selected when already in outstanding original condition.

Selection, restoration and areas of focus

Over time, our research has developed specific areas of expertise, including 1930s office furniture, vintage filing cabinets, storage units and roll-top desks, alongside a curated selection of Nordic and Scandinavian design, featuring sideboards and furnishings defined by essential, timeless forms.
This curatorial approach has been developed in Turin since 2007, with constant attention to quality, coherence and authenticity.

Lighting plays a central role within the collection: Mid Century Style offers a curated selection of mid-century lighting, with a particular focus on Italian designers of the 1970s, including coloured blown-glass lamps chosen for their craftsmanship, character and formal identity.

Lighting, rentals and projects

The project also includes a rental service for original mid-century furniture and objects, available for events, photo shoots and set design, for clients seeking distinctive, authentic pieces that define a space.

The store is based in Turin, but our research and selection speak to collectors, professionals and design enthusiasts both locally and internationally.
Every choice follows the same principle: not to accumulate, but to curate, offering objects that represent their time and continue to live naturally within contemporary interiors.
